Obituary of Sara M. Bailey

Sara Mary Ciferni Bailey, age 59 years, of Pitman, died March 28 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Darby, PA, she was a graduate of Deptford High School in 1968. She graduated from Glassboro State College (Rowan Univ.) in 1972 with her B.A. degree and in 1996 with her Masters degree. She had been a resident of Pitman for 34 years. She was employed as a Librarian for the Pitman School District, working in Memorial School and the Middle School, until her retirement in 2008. Sara was very Italian, she liked snow, pizza, sewing, nutty people, and always enjoyed a good time. She was a member of the NEA, NJEA, Fantasy Fashion League, and an avid blood donor. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Daniel Bailey, Jr., her children, Daniel III (Felicia), Alexis (Edward) Barton, Kristoffer A. (Corrie), and Katrina Bailey, 14 grandchildren Mackenzie, Juliana, Ethan, Keegan, Sara, Dylan, Hunter, Madeline, Lillian, Luke, Eliana, Ava, Ana, and Lenah. Also survived by her father in law and mother in law, Daniel Sr., and Irene. Friends may call on Thursday after 7 PM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Avenue, Pitman, NJ and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Funeral mass at 11 AM in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave., Pitman. Interment private.
