Dorothy E. Weir (nee Vollmer), age 95 years, of Wildwood Crest, NJ died May 11, 2009 at her home. Born in New Jersey, raised in Pitman, and formerly of Clayton, she has lived in Wildwood Crest since 1987. She spent her winters in Vero Beach, FL. She was the former owner of Sea Spray Venetian Blinds in Clayton. Along with her late husband, Robert I. Weir, they owned the Robert I. Weir Furniture Store in Glassboro from 1947 to 1982. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Sinawik of Clayton.
Survived by her niece Joane LiCalzi of Bridgeton, NJ, nephew R. Douglas (Beth) Smithson of Millville, NJ, niece Taylor Smithson, nephews Jack Smithson, Brenden and Nicholas Markopoulous.
