Obituary of Sophie Matyasik

Sophie Matyasik (nee Pyzik), age 98 years, died February 16 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Walter M. Matyasik. Sophie was born in Camden, NJ, was a resident of Hilltop, NJ until 2001, and spent the remainder of her years in Queenstown, MD. Loving mother of Ronald Matyasik (Annamae) of Sewell, NJ and Joyce Morrissey (Carl) of Queenstown, MD. Cherished grandmother of Kevin Matyasik (Jennifer); Karen Matyasik (James Whitley); and Ryan Morrissey (Kristin). Survived by her sister, Celia Kurpicki of Glendora, NJ. Sophie was pre-deceased by her siblings Mary Cramer and John Pyzik. Relatives and friends are invited to visit her family on Thursday from 9am to 10:45am in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Avenue, Pitman, NJ 08071. Funeral mass at 11am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Grasonville Volunteer Fire Dept., EMT, P.O.
