Obituary of A. Lois Kiger

Lois Kiger (nee Nelson), age 90 years, died June 5, 2009 in Friends Home at Woodstown. She was a graduate of Woodbury High School in 1936 and lived in Mullica Hill for over 60 years. She was a 50 year active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Mullica Hill and enjoyed singing in the choir along with teaching Sunday school. She was a member and past president of the United Methodist Women, the Women's Club of Mullica Hill, Mullica Hill Historical Society and the Golden Age Club. Lois also was a member of the Pitman Manor Auxiliary, Ranch Hope Auxiliary and the Neighborhood Center Auxiliary of Camden, NJ. Lois also volunteered with the Blood Mobile. She is survived by her children Dolores Daniels of Mullica Hill, Barbara (James) Schmidheiser of West Chester, Dottie (Alex) Marshall of Mullica Hill, sister Althene Miller of Paulsboro, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and niece Georgia E. Lamb of Mullica Hill. Friends may call on Friday after 10am in Trinity United Methodist Church, 284 Cedar Rd., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Eglington Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund at the above address.
