Mary Smith (nee Harraden), age 93, died on October 15, 2009. Born and raised in Rahway, NJ, she moved to Pitman in 1980. She owned and operated Mary's Bake Shop in Rahway from 1960-1980. After moving to Pitman, she worked for EIRC in Washington Twp. until age 85. She was the wife of the late Frank Smith and predeceased by her son Arthur.
She is survived by her son Robert and daughter in law Sandy of Pitman, sister Esther Botulinski of OR, 6 grandchildren David Smith, Kimberly Kaschak, Dena Mangione, David, Leah, and Hannah Smith, and 5 great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Monday from 7-9pm and Tuesday after 10am in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service Tuesday at 11am. Interment Manahath Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, Kennedy Health System, 1099 White Horse Road, Voorhees, NJ 08043.
