Robert S. Williamson, age 85 died on October 19, 2009. Born and raised in Exeter, PA (Luzerne County), he lived in Lansdowne, PA for many years before moving to Pitman in 1990. He was a WWII Army Veteran serving from 1943-1946 in the European Theatre. Robert graduated from Temple University in 1950 and worked for Globe Ticket Co. in Horsham, PA as a Sales Representative and Sales Manager. He retired in 1980 after 29 years. During his retirement he continued as a consultant for Globe Ticket for a few years. Robert was a member of Pitman United Methodist Church and an avid Phillies fan.
He was predeceased by his wife Rosa N. (nee Nyce) and sister Marian Roman. Survived by his son Charles R. (Kathy) of Bel Air, MD, daughter Jane (Martin) Rynex of Pitman, brother Donald, grandchildren David Geyer, Kathryn Pierantozzi, Daniel Geyer, John Williamson and great grandchildren Nicholas, Michael, Alyson and Gwyneth.
