Obituary of Gloria Jean Wright

Gloria Jean Wright (nee Gock), age 80 died on November 16, 2009. She was raised in Pitman and was a graduate of Pitman High School in 1948. She has lived in Richwood for the past 50 years. Jean worked for Bell Telephone during the 1950's. In 1972 she began working for Mantua National Bank as a Teller and retired in 1991 when it was First Union. She was an active member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Pitman where she was also a member of the Golden Age Club and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was the wife of the late John W. Survived by her children Deborah and John both of Richwood and sister Nancy Granato of Pitman. She was predeceased by her parents Gladys and John Gock, Sr. and siblings Jack, Ted and Judy Gock. Friends may call on Friday after 10am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Pitman Ave, Pitman. Funeral mass will be at 11am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
