Obituary of David F. Garrison

David F. Garrison, Jr., P.E., aged 73, died on November 23, 2009 at his home in S. Harrison Twp where he has lived since 1968. Upon graduating from Pitman High School in 1955, he entered the US Navy and served on the USS Saratoga from 1955-1959. David later attended Drexel University and graduated in 1965 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He continued his education and received his Professional Engineer License. He worked for E I DuPont Co. for many years. After retirement, he continued to work as a Contracting Consultant for US Salt. David was a member of the Society of Mechanical Engineers, enjoyed the Jersey Shore and was an avid Eagles fan. He was the son of the late Ida Jaggard Garrison. He is survived by Edna (nee Hazard) and daughters Stacey (Gregory) Nestel of Lansdowne, PA and Laurie Garrison of Sheffield, England. Graveside services will be on Tuesday December 1, at 11AM in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Delsea Dr, Pitman.
