Obituary of Edward J. Seidel

Edward J. Seidel Jr., age 81 years, of Pitman, died November 29 at Underwood Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, he had lived most of his life in Deptford. He retired from Owens Illinois/Anchor Hocking as a mechanic after 25 years and had been a farmer for most of his life. He attended Hurffville United Methodist Church, and was a volunteer at Underwood Mem. Hosp. and Kennedy Health Systems for 10 years. Always there to lend his capable helping hands to friends, family and neighbors in need. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Mildred Leona (nee Graber), his children Ed III (Leslie) of Monroeville, Walt (Janet) of Monroe Twp., Kathy Mander (Walt) of Hightstown, Debbie Trowbridge (Duane) of Franklinville, Donna Safko (John) of Linthicum MD, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and his sister Edith Propert of Pitman. Predeceased by sister Leore Richards. Friends may call on Wed. after 7 PM and Thursday after 10 AM at the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral service at 11 AM.
