Obituary of Catherine M. Kummer

Catherine M. Kummer (nee Oakes), age 95 years died December 11 at the Health Care Center at Washington Twp. Born in Gloucester City, she was a resident of Deptford and Wenonah from 1932-1990. She was a member of Incarnation Church, the Alter and Rosary Society, the Lion's Club Auxiliary in Wenonah, and the Underwood Mem. Hospital Auxiliary. She was the first PTA president for St. Patrick's School in Woodbury, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She loved to knit, especially sweaters and baby outfits. Predeceased by her husband Carl H. Kummer, son Douglas, and great-grandson Donald Dazlich III. Survived by her daughter Mary Jean Dazlich of Mullica Hill and son Carl M. of Pitman, 10 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Friends may call from 10 - 10:45am on Thursday at Incarnation Church, Main Street, Mantua, NJ. Funeral mass at 11 am. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery. Arrangements KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, Pitman, NJ.
