Obituary of Lillian Esther Jones

Lillian E. Jones (nee Plum) age 90 years, died February 11, 2010 in Pitman Manor, Pitman, NJ. Born in West Deptford, NJ, she was raised in Westville and has lived in Pitman most of her life, except for the 7 years she lived in Michigan with her son. She graduated from Taylor Business School and was a homemaker. She was a very active member of the Pitman United Methodist Church, the Ellen Usinger Sunday School Class, Followers Prayer Group, and S.E.T. Club (Sew, Eat, Talk; a group of close friends). She was Superintendent of Children's Sunday School, taught 3rd Grade Sunday School and was an Advisor to the Methodist Youth Fellowship. Predeceased by her husband Theodore C. Jones, Jr. Survived by her children, Judith (Lee) Krug of Coatesville, PA, Nancy (Tom) Taylor of Forest Hill, MD, and Jeff (Cathy) Jones of Aurora, IL, daughter in law June Jones; 6 grandchildren, Brian (Stephanie) Krug, Lisa (C.J.) Behnke, Shari (Mark) Sturm, Michael (Wendy) Jones, Jennifer and Carly Jones; 5 great grandchildren, Lucy, Caleb, Levi, and Heidi Krug, and Isaac Behnke. Friends may call on Saturday, March 6 after 9:30 AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral service at 10:30 AM. Interment Bethel Memorial Park, Pennsauken, NJ.
