Brian Patrick Ballard, age 50 years, of Mullica Hill, NJ, died on March 6 in Virtua Hospital, Mount Holly, NJ. Born in Mount Holly, he graduated from Burlington High School in 1977, Ursinus College in 1981 where he was a member of the Varsity Swimming team, and Widener Law School in 1985. A resident of Mullica Hill since 1998, after a career practicing law Brian was employed in the pharmaceutical industry and medical communications field for several years, most recently with Doctor Directory.com and previously with Vindico Medical Education, MC Communications and Eli Lilly and Company. Within the community, Brian served as President of the Brookside Recreation & Swim Club Board of Directors, and served as a volunteer coach for Harrison Township Soccer Club, Harrison Township Youth Basketball, and Harrison Township Little League. Brian was also an avid runner and golfer and past member of Atlantic City Country Club and Running Deer Golf Club. Brian was passionate about anything sports-related and he particularly loved to watch his daughters compete in athletic events, especially swimming and soccer. Survived by his wife Loree F. (nee Field), children Karlee, Rylee, and Mackenzee, brothers and their wives Richard and Pat, Robert and Cynthia, David and Laurie. Additionally, his aunt and uncle, Jane and Jack McCarty, cousins Peg and Bryan McGair, John and Kevin McCarty. Also his in-laws Clarke and Pattye Field as well as his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dante and Leesa Parenti and sister in law Lorraine Ballard, along with many loving nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 9 pm in the Holy Name of Jesus Church, 17 Earlington Avenue, Mullica Hill, NJ, and on Friday from 8:30 to 9:45am. Funeral mass at 10 am. Interment private.
