Obituary of Carmela Albano

Carmela "Millie" (Lisa) Albano passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on August 11, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 10, 1918, in Carrolltown, PA, she was a longtime resident of Glassboro, NJ, where she worked as a seamstress. Her beloved husband of 55 years, Pasquale "Pat" died in 2001. She was predeceased by her parents Pasquale and Frances (Tripoli) Lisa and siblings Joe Lisa, Grace (Lisa) Bonino, and Pasquale "Gerk" Lisa. Millie was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by her siblings Flora (Lisa) Barca, Sam Lisa and Paul Lisa. She is also survived by 9 nephews, 5 nieces, 28 great nephews and nieces, and 22 great-great nephews and nieces.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, August 18, from 11am - 11:45am at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Church St, Glassboro, NJ. Funeral mass will be at 12pm. Interment St. Bridget's Cemetery. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
