Obituary of John H. Buckley

John "Jack" H. Buckley, Jr., age 66 died on May 24, 2010 at his home in Sewell where he lived over 40 years. John was a graduate of Woodbury High School in 1962. He worked for CBS in Pitman over 20 years and retired from Johnson Mathey in West Deptford after 24 years as a Boiler Operator. John was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Pitman and the Knights of Columbus Council #6247 where he was Past Grand Knight in 1975-1976. John loved to coach youth sports in Mantua Twp. Over the years he coached soccer, little league, basketball and wrestling. For the past few years he enjoyed coaching Gator Youth Football and Gator Jr. Wrestling. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Mary H. (nee Barnett), children Mary (Christopher) Burns, John H. III (Joyce), Richard W. (Rachel), Stephen P. (Jennifer), Veronica (Garry) Gumpert, sisters Theresa and Patricia Buckley and grandchildren Michael, Danielle, Allison, James, John, Jessica, Katie, Marissa and Hannah. Friends may call on Thursday 7-9pm and Friday 9-10am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be on Friday at 10:30am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Franklinville.
