Obituary of Howard C. Moore

Howard C. Moore, age 78, of Glassboro, NJ died Sept. 5 at home with his loved ones around. Born in Barnsboro, NJ, he was the son of the late Howard and Ida Moore and graduated from Pitman High School in 1951. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1954, and was the owner/operator of Moore's Gravel Pit in Barnsboro, for over 40 years. He loved traveling in his motor home with his family, but most of all, he loved reading and talking about God's Word. He is survived by his wife Elsie of 46 years, his children David H. Moore and wife Dawn, Donna Jaskolka and husband Joseph, Debbie Savidge and husband Mark, and his sister Delores Simmerman. Also survived by his precious grandchildren, Ben, Deanna, Grace, Jared, Rachel, and Rebecca; and many nieces and cousins. Friends may call on Thursday after 9:30 AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral service at 11AM. Entombment private.
