Erma V. Rollison (nee Hendershot), a resident of Pitman Manor since April of this year, passed away December 29, 2010. Born in West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania on March 1, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Albert E. and Kate A. Hendershot. In 1934, Erma, her father, mother, two sisters Roberta R. and Ethel M. and brother Arthur E. moved to Delaware County, Pennsylvania where she graduated from Nether Providence High School in 1942. She married the late Charles D. Rollison in 1947 and moved to Mullica Hill, New Jersey in 1956 to raise her family, where she resided before moving to West Deptford in 1985. She attended and was a faithful member of the Richwood United Methodist Church for approximately 50 years or more. During that time, she served as Treasurer of the Women's Society and was a member of the R.F.L.M. Class. She is survived by her son David C. and his wife Maria V., her sister Ethel M. Carpenter, stepmother Lillian M. Hendershot, brother-in-laws H.Thomas Carpenter and John W. Taylor, sister-in-law Margaret E. Hendershot, nieces and nephew and their many children who reside in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. Friends may call on Tuesday after 10:30 AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Avenue, Pitman, New Jersey. Funeral service at 11:30 AM. Interment Richwood Cemetery.
