Harriet B. Brown, age 83 died on January 6, 2011. Born in Hepzibah, GA she has lived in Pitman since 1952. Harriet was a graduate of Cooper Nursing School where she received her R.N. She worked over 25 years for Dr. Repici and 9 years at Underwood Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Pitman United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Elderberries and Stephen's Ministries. Harriet also volunteered at Our Father's House Preschool in the church.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years Marshall W., children Jerry (Laurinda), Barbara Vollmar, Robert (Audrey), Kathi (Thomas Sr.) Senior, Gary (Pat), Larry (Terry), Ron (Donna), 25 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and sister Bea Marshall.
Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 2-5pm in the Pitman United Methodist Church, N. Broadway, Pitman. Celebration of Life Service will be at 5pm In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Pitman United Methodist Church or Our Father's House Preschool, 758 N. Broadway, Pitman, NJ 08071.
