Obituary of Norma L. Williams

Norma L. Williams (nee Doughty), age 84 died on February 8, 2011 at her home in Pitman where she lived most of her life. Norma was a member of the Cheerleading Team at Pitman High School and graduated in 1944. She became a Registered Nurse after graduating from Cooper Hospital Nursing School. She began her career in nursing at Elmer Hospital. Norma retired from Struthers Dunn after many years as the nurse. Before retiring, she was a relief nurse at Sony in Pitman and worked for many different nursing homes in the area. Norma continued to stay active as President of Class Reunions, organizing reunions for many years. She also enjoyed reading and puzzles. She was the wife of the late Harry M, Sr. and predeceased by her son Harry M. "Skip", Jr. She is survived by her children Susan L. Hillenbrand and Ted J. Williams both of Pitman, grandchildren Melizza Pickering-Weaver, Chris, Jon and Justin Williams and great grandson Scott A. Pickering.
