Obituary of Joan Hilda Witts

Joan Hilda Witts (nee Sargent), age 74 of Richwood, NJ, died February 19 at her home. Born in Philadelphia, she attended South Philly High School for Girls and had lived in Richwood since 1970. She was a school bus driver for Harrison Twp., Clearview and Kingsway schools. She was a member of the South Jersey Horseman's Assoc., and the Richwood Rambling Riders. She was a Gloucester County 4H Leader and Girl Scout Troop Leader. Joan loved traveling to and attending her grandchildren's activities. She was an avid bingo player and bowler. Predeceased by her brothers James and Frank Sargent. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, David G. Witts, daughters Diane Reuter (Lou), Peggy Wilson, and Susan Witts, son David Witts Jr. , grandchildren Scarlett Reuter (George Weist), Brooks Reuter (Jodi), Caitlyn, Kyle, and Ashley Reuter, Alexandra and Tyler Wilson, Jessica Aubry (Val Strockbine), and great grandchildren Jackson and Jamison Reuter. Also survived by her brother Edward Sargent (Beverly). Friends may call on Wednesday from 9 to 11 AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral Service at 11 AM.
