Virginia L. Dalesandro (nee Lankford), age 69 years, of Pitman, NJ died on March 20 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was raised in Wenonah before moving to Pitman in 1966. She graduated from Pitman High School in 1959, Western Maryland College in 1961 and John Hopkins in 1964 with her degree in Nursing. She was a devoted nurse throughout her life. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pitman, and a former Deacon, she was also a former member of the Pitman Women's Club.
Survived by her husband of 46 years, Daniel S., children Scott (Jane) of Pitman, Stephanie (Roger) Lai of Mt. Laurel, and Bryan, of Pitman, granddaughter Jillian, stepbrother Thomas (Gayle) Synnott, and stepsister Marsha (Edward) Synnott.
Friends may call on Thursday from 7 to 9PM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ, and Friday from 9 to 10:15AM in the First Presbyterian Church, 10 Wildwood Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071. Funeral service at 10:30 AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, at above address or The Assn. for Frontotemporal Degeneration, Radnor Station 2, Suite 320, 290 King of Prussia Rd., Radnor, PA 19087.
