Joanne Deveney (nee Eggleston), age 74 years died on April 11, 2011. Raised in Haddonfield, NJ she lived in Washington Twp. most of her life and moved to Franklinville 7 years ago. For over 25 years she was a Dispatcher for the Washington Twp. Police Dept, retiring in 2006. Joanne was a former member of the Washington Twp. Ambulance Squad. She enjoyed camping, ceramics, gardening and especially loved family gatherings.
She is survived by her children Paul (Lauren), Robert Jr. (Dina), Diane (James) Bacher, Howard (Barbara Jo), Joanne (Christopher) Murtha, her mother Lorraine (nee Hurd) Eggleston, brothers John, Clarence and William, sisters Elmira and Lorraine, 8 grandchildren, 3 great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday 7-9pm and Saturday after 10am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11am.
