Obituary of George A. Stetter

George A. Stetter, age 86 died on April 15, 2011 at his home in Pitman where he lived since 1960. He was a World War II Army Air Corps Veteran serving in Europe from 1943-1946. George taught Business Education at Pitman High School from 1960 until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Pitman where he was the Treasurer for 35 years. He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan and had a passion for reading.
He is survived by his wife Lucy (nee Elwood), children David (Nancy), Martin, Donald, brother Karl, sisters Jane Bachman, Mary Prandini, Helen Stetter and grandchildren Kelly and Henry.
Friends may call on Monday 7-9pm in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ and Tuesday 9:30-10:45am in St. James Lutheran Church, 400 Columbia Ave, Pitman, NJ.
