Obituary of LeRoy Robert Borchart

LeRoy Robert Borchart, age 84 years, of Glassboro, died April 27 at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Wash. Twp. Division. Born in Chicago, he moved to Pitman in 1988 and had lived in Glassboro for the last 6 years. He served in the U.S.Army Military Police from 1945-46. He retired as an accountant from the Bendix Corporation in St. Joseph, Michigan in 1981. Leroy was a member of the Pitman United Methodist Church, Pitman Masonic Lodge F&AM 197, Elks Club, and the Lions Club where he served as District Governor. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Opal J. (nee Morgan), stepson Ronald (Deborah) Butcher, grandsons Michael (Audra) and Jason (Karen) Butcher, granddaughter Aimee (Matthew) Butcher-Stevick and sister Patty of California. Friends may call on Monday from 7 to 9PM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Masonic service at 8PM. Funeral service at 11AM on Tuesday in the Pitman United Methodist Church, 758 N. Broadway, Pitman, NJ 08071 where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45AM.
