Eleanor D. Webb (nee Shindle), age 90 years, of Pitman, died May 14 at her daughter's home in Gibbstown, NJ. Born in Gloucester City, NJ, she graduated from Gloucester City High School in 1939 and moved to Pitman in 1952. She was a former Girl Scout Leader and loved to sew, knit and do crafts. Predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Clarence Webb.
Survived by her daughters, Carolyn B. Wagner and her husband Herbold, Jr. of Gibbstown, Bernice A. Gendron of Ortley Beach, NJ, and Joan M. Dresh of Mantua, grandchildren Laura Wagner, Herbold Wagner III, Michael Dresh, Bernice Hasher, Kelli Gendron, Andrew Gendron, and 8 great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Wednesday after 7PM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ and from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday. Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Pitman, NJ. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions to Lighthouse Hospice, 1040 N.
