Obituary of Virginia Y. Fuller

Virginia Y. Fuller (nee Young), age 93 died on May 18, 2011. She was a graduate of Pitman High School in 1934 where she was active in all sports and lived most of her life in Pitman. Virginia worked for the South Jersey Gas Co. for over 30 years as a secretary and retired in 1972. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Pitman. She was a longtime member of the Pitman Ladies Golf Assn and enjoyed golfing until recently. She was also an avid Bridge player. Her husband Raymond M. Fuller, died in 1945, while serving with the US Army in Burma during World War 2. She is survived by her son Raymond G. (Bonnie) of Pitman and many favorite nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Evelyn F. Elliott and Marie Nickerson and brother Joseph H. Young, Sr. Friends may call on Sunday 7-9pm and Monday 9:30-10:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Requiem Eucharist will be at 11am in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 315 Highland Terrace, Pitman, NJ 08071. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
