Obituary of Daniel J. Britton

Daniel J. Britton, age 43 died on May 31, 2011. Born in Ithaca, NY he was raised in Pitman and was a graduate of Pitman High School in 1986. Daniel lived in Swedesboro for the past 11 years. He attended Gloucester County College and graduated from Rutgers University in Camden in 2000. He served in the NJ National Guard over 10 years. He was an Analyst for the Philadelphia Inquirer for 12 years. Daniel was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating, gardening and hiking.
He is survived by his wife Lora Dempsey Britton, children Autumn and Zane, parents Philip and Barbara (nee Bush) Britton, sister Debbie Maurer and brother Philip Britton, Jr.
Friends may call on Monday after 9am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Lake Park Cemetery, Swedesboro. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rutger's Foundation Center of Alcohol Studies, 120 Albany St., Suite 201, New Brunswick, NJ 08901, in memory of Dan Britton.
