Obituary of Peter V. Mango

Peter "Pop" V. Mango, age 77 died on June 16, 2011. He served in the US Army from 1954-1956 and lived in Pitman over 60 years. Peter was a member of Pitman Fire Patrol and founding member of the Pitman Ambulance Squad. He was a Special Officer for the Pitman Police Department. Peter was a coach with the Pitman Little League and helped start and coach minor league baseball. He also was an election poll worker. Predeceased by his wife Janice (nee Dupper) and brothers Frank, Vince, Henry and sister Josephine. He is survived by daughter Pat, son Pete (Jodi), grandchildren Christopher, Joanna, Devanie, Brandon and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday 7-9pm and Tuesday 10-11am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be Tues. at 11am. Interment Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery.
