Obituary of Spencer C. Ossman

Spencer Cole Ossman, age 89 years, of Glassboro, NJ, died June 22 at Kennedy Health Care, Sewell, NJ. Born in Peekskill, NY, he graduated in 1941 from Peekskill High School. He served in the Army Air Corps in Australia from 1942 - 46 and moved to Glassboro in 1958. He served as the custodian at the First Presbyterian Church in Pitman for 15 years until his retirement in 1997. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clayton, and the Glassboro American Legion Post #241. He loved to garden and tend to his flowers.
Survived by his wife of 64 years, Emma Marie (nee Broomall), sons Ronald and Kenneth,
daughter Carol, and grandchildren John and Heather.
Friends may call on Monday after 9AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service at 11AM. Entombment Eglington Cemetery.
