Dorothy Jane Amos, age 88 died on July 3, 2011 at her home in Pitman. She was a graduate of Pitman High School in 1941 and lived all her life in Pitman.
Daughter of the late Albert and May Johnson, she is survived by her husband of 61 years Harry J. Amos, daughters Ginni (Michael) Groody, Susan Lee, granddaughters Donna (Chad) Cowan, Michele Amos, Danielle (Brian) Curran, Stephanie Hopwood, sister in law Rose Johnson and great grandchildren Erin, Keely, Coleman, Chase, Colleen and Campbell. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Jones.
