Obituary of William Garwood Baker

William G. Baker, age 91 years of Glassboro, died peacefully onJuly 27, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Philadelphia, he had lived in Glassboro since 1968 and was formerly of Linwood, NJ. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1942-46 and was employed for 19 years as a police officer for the City of Philadelphia. He had a deep love for his family and was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Rita (nee Fregeau) Baker. Survived by his children Carol Willett, Carl, Gary, and Glen Baker, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Friends may call on Saturday from 10 to 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Greentree Rd., Glassboro, NJ. Funeral mass at 11 AM. Interment Manahath Cemetery.
