Obituary of Joseph Godfrey Theisen

Joseph G. Theisen, Sr. age 91 years, died August 30, at his home in Pitman. Born in Philadelphia, PA he has lived in Pitman for 48 years. Veteran of WW 2 serving in the Army Air Corps. He retired from Struthers-Dunn Inc., Pitman after 35 years as an electrical inspector and after retirement he was a Crossing Guard in Pitman for 19 years. He was a member of The Rock Church, Pitman, and the Kingdom Heirs a singing group. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 50 years Ida Mae (Nee Winkler) Theisen. He is survived by his daughter Ida Mae (Rev. Dr. Gene) Devers, son Joseph G. (Robin) Jr., 4 grandchildren Brianna Coates, Jennifer (Edwin) Rivera, Shannon Theisen, and Joseph G. Theisen, 111. Friends may call from 7 to 9PM Thursday and 10 to 11AM Friday in The Rock Church, 205 Esplanade Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral services 11AM. Interment Private. Arrangements by the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME.
