Mary Ethel Swords (nee Ellis), age 89 died on October 13, 2011. She has lived in Clayton over 58 years and was a secretary for St. Catherine of Siena Church in Clayton. Mary was a member of the Glassboro Senior Citizen's Club and enjoyed traveling.
She was the wife of the late John Swords Sr. and predeceased by her sons James and Michael. Survived by her children June (Brian) Bower, Carolyn (Tony) Apostle and John Jr., daughter in law Betty Swords, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and her beloved friend and care taker Frances Trank.
Friends may call on Tuesday 9-10am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be at 11am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Delsea Dr, Clayton, NJ.
