Albert A. Pellegrino Jr., 80, of Washington Township, NJ passed away peacefully in the hand of God on October 18, 2011. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, son of the late Albert and Angelina (Adeline) Pellegrino. He was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and DeVry Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL. Mr. Pellegrino was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. His career started at the Rocket Test Instrument Group of Bell Aircraft, Wheatfield, NY. He then joined the Department of Defense working with the Army Guided Missile Agency which included studying advanced missile systems at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama. Mr. Pellegrino was hired by Mobil Oil Corporation, Buffalo, NY, in 1970. During his employment he was selected to work pre-startup operations with the Alyeska Pipeline Southern District Headquarters, Glennallen, Alaska. Later, in 1981 he was transferred to Mobil, Paulsboro, NJ. He held several supervisory positions until his retirement in 1993. Mr. Pellegrino is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Lola Pellegrino (nee Van De Bogart). Cherished father of three daughters, Cynda (Mark) Croisdale, Wilson, NY, Paige Pellegrino (Nick) Teti, Washington Township, NJ, Jill (George) Ambrose, Douglasville, GA. Loving grandchildren, Mark (Dawn) and Andrew Croisdale, Autumn and Cole Teti, Savannah and Sawyer Ambrose. Great-grandaughter (Croisdale). Dear brothers Vincent (Rose Marie) Pellegrino, Niagara Falls, NY, Victor (Wallette) Pellegrino, Maui, HI. Also, Elaine Pellegrino, Lewiston, NY, several nieces, nephews and cousins. "While we are mourning the loss of you, others are rejoicing to meet you." Friends may call on Monday 12pm - 1pm in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Avenue, Pitman, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm. Private Interment Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewistown, NY.
