Elinor L. Weatherby (nee Laning), age 92 passed away peacefully on October 27, 2011 at her home in Sewell surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Pitman High School in 1938 and was a longtime resident of Hurffville. In addition to being a homemaker, Elinor and her late husband John owned and operated Weatherby's John Deere Dealership in Hurffville until their retirement in 1974. She was a member of the Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed traveling to Maine, vacations with her family and was a wonderful cook. Elinor was known as "Mom Mom" and "Aunt Chick" to the many people who will miss her. She was the wife of the late John Hamilton Weatherby. Survived by her son Charles (Mary Katherine) of Sewell, her beloved twin grandchildren Kaitlyn Rose and Tyler Alexander Weatherby, grandchildren John and Kelly, brother in law Chester Meade and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Charles Laning and sister Christine Meade. Friends may call on Saturday 9:30-10:30am in Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church, 330 Greentree Rd, Washington Twp, NJ. Funeral service will be at 10:30am. Interment Bethel Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church, 330 Greentree Rd, Sewell, NJ 08080.
