I was fortunate to have the opportunity to officiate my first game with George. The following year I was assigned to his crew and worked with him until he retired. His knowledge and approach to the game were remarkable. I couldn’t thank George enough for taking me under his wing and helping me to become the official I am today. My thoughts and prayers are with the Daniels family.

On behalf of the entire Badiali family, please accept our deepest condolences. My father, Joe, was friends with George dating back to the late 60's when my father's company, Eastern Testing & Inspection leased it's fleet of company vehicles from George. On occasion, I was locky enough to tag along for lunch when George would visit. George had a great passion for life and always made you feel part of the conversation, even as a kid. He officiated many of my football games when my father was president of the Garden Staate Midget league and also during my years, at Triton. If George threw a flag on you, he'd be the first to come over and tell you why.And if you made a good play, He'd compliment you on that, as well. My brothers, Joe, Steve and Marc also played in games George officiated, as well as his son Craig. Craig was also pricipal @ WTHS for all of my brothers, as well as my daughter Kristin. Again, our deepest condolences to the entire Daniels family and congratulations to George, on a life well lived. Rest in peace.
